This lovely little plate works well as a side piece on your tabletop, for salads or bread, or is perfect as a kids plate replacing plastic as a sturdy non breakable piece. Hand carved in the Blue Ridge mountains of Virginia, by 89 year old Glendon Boyd, a 5th generation Appalachian woodworker, using traditional techniques and local woods such as maple, oak, cherry and occasionally black walnut.
