Miyagikyo Single Malt Japanese Whisky 45%ABV 30ml Tasmania apricot danish and buttery vanillaYoichi and Miyagikyo are the key single malts used to make Nikka Blended Whisky. Yoichi is heavier and peaty whereas Miyagikyo is lighter, fruity and sweet. Together they balance each other to make Taketsuru Pure Malt Japanese Blends or are added to grain whisky to make Nikka Premium Blends. Individually they are tasty malts and at one point they were almost impossible to find as single malts as after demand spiked they discontinued age state ment
