A very special guitar indeed, the SG 2 was one of the first solid body guitars made by Yamaha (alongside the SG 3,5 and 7). Debuting in 1966, in a time when Japanese made guitars weren't held in such a high regard as they are today, the SG 2 wasn't hugely successful upon it's launch and was dropped from production in 1971. There's no hiding the Jazzmaster Jaguar
