This plant came to us from the collection of the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens with an accession number of SEL1996-0245 under the name of Orthophytum burle-marxii v

it grows well mounted or will form a ball of plants by simply hanging it from a string

tubular rosette to about 12 inches tall

A small grower to only about 18 inches tall

A fairly large grower to about 24in, it is nicely conformed and brightly colored at anthesis. The center flushes pink, which spreads outwards for several inches.
