Hesperides - Diptych drip painting I was fortunate to visit

I was fortunate to visit a beautiful arboretum and whilst walking through the grounds I came upon a small pond full of goldfish

Gold flashes of dripped paint suggest wild undergrowth beneath the Buttercups and striking red poppies suggest a late summer vibe

dark violet ink shadows complement the fierce yellow wild warmth of late summer days

In spring time the blossoms on the trees are breath taking

Hesperides - Diptych drip painting I was fortunate to visitHespirides is a large painting measuring 200 x 120 x 5cm. It is painted on two panels (diptych) which hang next to each other, each panel measures 100 x 120 x 5cm. In the woods, I look out at golden light. I am hidden, cool beneath the trees, concealed in the shadows. Golden light beckons me. Out of the wild, I leave this blissful place. I was inspired to paint Hesperides whilst out walking. I wanted to capture the wild nature of the woods and set
