It will often offset from the inflorescence as does the intermedia parent and can form a chain of oddly twisting offspring

both rather large plants

Tillandsia 'Pandora's Box' Size:Medium Ben Sill’s unusual bigeneric hybridA twelve inch wide rosette of arching, channeled, silvery leaves on a short stem. Leaves curl slightly at the tips, a trait inherited from the duratii parent. The inflorescence is tall with several upright branches and a light lavender blue. Flowers have an open corolla and are white, edged in purple. Somewhat surprisingly the flowers have no fragrance. A very handsome hybrid! (duratii x recurvifolia)
