Watercolor Monotype (August 23-24) collage Mokuhanga printing was used toChallenge convention and take chances in this advanced monotype workshop that explores the rich intersection between painting and printmaking. The class begins with an investigation into watercolor monoprinting in which students print from watercolor painting on Yupo paper, water soluble crayon drawings and plastic and paper stencils. We then learn to incorporate Akua Intaglio inks with transparency as well as various texturing and drypoint line work
