The JV (or Japanese Vintage or Joint Venture depending who you ask..) were the first Fender Squier guitars built in Japan in the FujiGen factory. The Squier branded guitars were sold domestically and exported and the Fender branded models were only sold domestically in Japan. Our '72 reissue is an absolute peach, you'd be forgiven for believing the JV hype once you get your hands round this gorgeous maple neck!
