E La Nave Va Rug Pillow Wabi-sabi is an age-old JapaneseE la nave va is a hand knotted, plush rug made from plant dyed sheepwool. Its sensuous pattern is based on a painting by Gabriel Adomaityt (Untitled (Scale), 2017) depicting a ship, and a water level measuring scale. The image is taken and inspired by an illustration from the artist's personal collection of prints and then distorted to only allow colour and line drawings to take part.
