The necklace consists of large bright red early plastic (probably galalith - an early plastic similar to bakelite) beads spaced around the necklace with shiny chrome beads and the most fabulous chrome coloured inset pieces on some of the beads

I would say its appearance in natural light is probably more antique silver tone than gold

The pieces are not stamped - the yellow metal may be gold covered 900 silver or even be gold

Each bunch is mounted on a detailed gold tone leaf and the leaves are grouped together in a pretty arrangement on gold tone filigree. At the top there is one large oval red coral coloured glass cabochon. The clip is around 2 1 4
