Blue and White Talavera Bird Wall Plate Made in Spain Victorian A muscular loin cloth cladThis blue and white plate is hand painted in a Moorish style with a bird, an ostrich?, in the center. It measures 7 7 8" in diameter, has "Made In Spain" and 2 holes for hanging in the foot impressed into the back. This is what Mexican Talavera emulates in the Spanish Colonial Revival style. Very good condition with a few nicks around the edges.
