Brocade Tiles by Moravian Pottery, Paisley Milk Weed Pods Chelsea Pottery A broken corner has anTwo Arts and Crafts tiles made by Henry Chapman Mercer's Moravian Pottery and Tile Works in Doylestown PA. The hand formed tiles measure about 5" x 2 3 3 4" and 5 8" thick. These brocade tiles were intended to be set into a stucco surface. The tiles are covered in a green engobe wash which allows the red clay to show through. Never set and unmarked they are in excellent condition with a couple of nicks on the edges.
