English Transfer Picture Tile in Trivet Sherwin Cotton These would be hidden ifA nice Victorian era transfer tile from England depicting and old bearded man in heavy robes sitting on a bench. A leafless tree is on his left, a leafy branch with a blooming flower to his right. The tile measures 6" square. The surface is unworn. The back has no marks but the bar pattern suggests Wedgwood. The tile is mounted into a bronzed metal frame, some surface loss on one foot. Overall measurements are 6 1 8" square and sits 7 8" high.
