Dating from the 18th century is painted in the Jangali Sunthari style. The main motif is a stylised tree of life with acanthus leaves that is European in style. Painted in traditional earth pigments of red and ambers on a dark green field.. Bikaner is a city famous for its fine painting of boxes and building interiors.
