The cabinet shape is Mongolian in style, however, the multi panel floral painting on the doors is more Chinese, 1930's Shanxi style. The doors are decorated with delicate floral paintings on a light yellow backdrop. These cabinets were used by nomadic people for storage of clothes and bedding as grain stores.
