Made by the Tropico Gladding McBean Company of Glendale and Hermosa Beach, California in the 1920's, this piece may have started it's life as a tabletop or wall panel. The glazing is rich and done in the dry line, or cueda seca, process. The artwork shows a ship with large billowing sails racing through the water. There is some Art Deco styling in the
