Bronze Buddha From Nepal - Ca 1980 Sale 5 x 32 x 48This vintage Buddha statue is in the pose of bhumisparsha mudra. Bhumisparsha means "Touching the earth" and symbolises Buddha's enlightenment beneath the Bodhi tree. The mudra is always from a seated position with the right hand resting on the knee and fingers pointing to the ground. The left hand is holding an alms bowl.
