Distilled in the Lowlands but with a very old style sweet smoke edge to this release from Ailsa bay

This single malt was matured in first fill and refill ex bourbon hogsheads. Tasting note: Nose: Citrus notes with hints of pear. Palate: Sponge cake covered in syrup and tasted almonds. Finish: Medium with lingering notes of lemon peel.
