HERMÈS SILK SCARF “NAPOLEON” BY PHILIPPE LEDOUX gilt This is a lovely largeThis is an original late 1980s silk scarf by HERMS, featuring a 1963 design by Philippe Ledoux, entitled NAPOLEON. The design showcases the pivotal moments of his life within laurel cameos and decorated by images of military fineries upon a repetitive pattern of bees. The design is printed upon silk, which itself has a bee damask pattern. the condition of this scarf is excellent, however there is a very faint small yellowed discolouration to the silk
