I loved the composition so much I ended up rendering it as a larger painting

The background was airbrushed first

The background was quite an involved airbrush piece; then add to that the energy from her hands; also airbrushed after everything else was done. Messing up would have been catastrophically disastrous. Model is Jessika Hallett sold the original along with another painting at Amazing Las Vegas Comic Con in 2018.
