Brass Bound Rosewood Jewellery Box from Kutch – 19th Century Period - Meiji 22 x 22 x 35This 19th century jewellery box from the Kutch region of Gujarat is a fine example of Anglo Indian craftsmanship. Made from richly figured rosewood and strengthened with hand cut brass bindings, it was designed to safely store treasured possessions including jewellery, textiles, documents and cash.
