Constructed of bronzed feinzink, the obverse with a Wehrmacht style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, with sun rays emanating from the centre of the left and right sides, and with four oak leaves and two acorns on each side, the reverse with a square magnetic metal backplate, with a horizontal banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, the reverse marked with
