Germany, Luftwaffe. An Officer’s Summer Uniform Second Pattern Tunic Eagle, By F.w. Assmann & Söhne Hold South Africa Medal 1834 -(Luftwaffe Brustadler). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a finely detailed Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral barrel hinge and horizontal pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, measuring 85 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
