It was sent from an SS quarter in the Stadt des KDF Wagens (City of the Strength through Joy car, modern day Wolfsburg, Lower Saxony) on February 17, 1939. The sender is the head of the Volkswagen factory. The letter was signed on his behalf by the head of the air raid protection of the VW company, his name is
