Depicted on the centerpiece of the ring is a mobile swastika (Hakenkreuz) with DAK vertically inscribed on its left side, and 1941 vertically inscribed on its right side. Above the swastika is the head of a palm, with its grassy base below. On both sides of the ring is a tropical scene, complete with a native African
