It is signed in black ink. Brinkforths rank is given as Obergefreiter (Senior Lance Corporal), but he signed Hubert Brinkforth, Unteroffizier (NCO). The back of the card identifies the photographer as Photo Hoffmann, Munich. It also states that reprinting is forbidden: Nachdruck verboten. Footnote: Hubert Brinkforth (19161942) was the first enlisted soldier that
