A First World War period postcard, featuring a black and white photograph of a German balloon and unit holding the metal cords, with ink handwriting with an arrow pointing to one of the figures, an indecipherable name, and the place Bremen, the reverse presents handwriting in black ink, mostly illegible except for the title FLIGERABWEHRBALLON and the date 4 July 1917, measuring 13. 8 cm (w) x 8. 9 cm (h), and in very fine condition.
