suspended from a single-toe horizontal medal bar from a correct replacement ribbon

obverse shows red enamel flag with the phrase “Материнская слава” and the Roman number showing the order's class

It was rewarded to distinguished Luftwaffe ground troop members who had already received the Iron Cross 1st Class and the Luftwaffe Ground Assault Badge

A Mint Fallschirmjäger Badge, Cloth Version consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac measuring 33 mm (d)(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen, Stoffausfhrung). Constructed of dark grey wool, the obverse bearing a machine embroidered silver grey oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, and overlaid by a golden yellow diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 54 mm (w) x 68 mm (h), in unissued and near mint condition.
