Turkey, Ottoman Empire. A Gallipoli Star With Case, By Godet Archive Eagle Decoration (adler der inhaber)(Harp Madalyasi). Instituted in 1915. In silver with red enamels, ball finials on the tips of the star points, German made, marked with five sided star on the pin, measuring 57. 5 mm (w) x 55 mm (h), vertical pinback, crazing evident in the red enamels on the star points at 5 and 12 o'clock, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, manufacturer's label inscribed "J. GODET & SOHN BERLIN" affixed to the bottom, the inside lid lined in blue
