Constructed of a silvered zink alloy, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching an HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a bar and swivel attachment prongs, marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and maker code M4 42 for Hermann Aurich, Dresden, also bearing the remnants of an RZM label, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), with
