Mongolia, People’s Republic. An Order of the Polar Star and an Honorary Medal of Combat Hold while the BWMAn Order of the Polar Star, Type III. (Altan Gadas Odon ). Instituted in 1936. A six pointed silver gilt star of multi piece construction, with red, white, yellow, and ultramarine blue enamels, screwback variant with matching backing plate, numbered 3165 on the reverse, measuring 46. 3 mm (w) x 53. 2 mm (l), weighing 52. 19 grams, with the enamels very well preserved, in extremely fine condition. An Honorary Medal of Combat. (Instituted May 16th,
