A Wehrpa, measuring 105 mm (w) x 148 mm (h), issued 6 November 1940, constructed of a field grey card stock binding with 52 interior pages, with minor, age appropriate fatigue evident, in near extremely fine condition. Footnote: Kurt Spies was born 16 July 1922 in Klafeld, Siegen Arnsberg, Germany. The son of a machinist, Otto Spies, and a housewife, Rosa (Gbel), he was employed as a carpenter, and was a bachelor and a Lutheran upon
