The mountain they live on is inaccessible and remote that Nepenthes researcher Chi’en Lee is the only person to have observed it in the wild (although there have been a couple reported cases of the plant growing epiphytically in the surrounding area with observers seeing them with binoculars)

Nepenthes mollis is extremely rare in cultivation and is a VERY slow grower when small but they really pick up the pace once they hit 3"-4"

It is found at 1200 meters elevation so it would be best grown as an intermediate but should also grow well in highland conditions and likely as a lowlander as well

This clone is a male and produces magnificently flared yellow peristomes with some striping on a pink pitcher body. The clone originates from Malesiana Tropicals.
