Italy, Kingdom. An Order of the Crown of Italy, Grand Cross Set by Borani, in Case Hold Late war production(Ordine della Corona d'Italia). Instituted in 1868. A lovely set, consisting of the badge of the order, a white enamel cross with Savoy knots in each quadrant, the center medallion with a Lombardy Crown on blue enamels, reverse bearing a black enamelled eagle, measures 49. 8 mm (w) x 53. 7 mm (h), weighs 16. 8 grams, accompanied by a full length sash, enamels intact, in extremely fine condition. The Star of the order, in silver featuring an eight
