Constructed of toned bronze, the obverse bearing a Sturmabteilung insignia overlaying a ski, situated above an inscription of SA SKIRMEISTERSCHAFT STANDARTE GJ4 1939, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, maker marked ALOIS KLAMMER, measuring 40 mm (w) x 25 mm (H), a scarce badge in near extremely fine condition.
