The fruit comes from roughly 30 year old vines on weathered volcanic porphyry and quartz in the celebrated Felsenberg and Stromberg slopes. Volcanic ground tends to give a smokier, rounder, more textured wine, and this one delivers, with tropical fruit lifted by citrus and a
